Balaji’s new show gets a name

Ekta Kapoor seems to have changed a lot. Not only has she dumped the alphabet K she has also moved away from her pet theme of saas bahu. And she is slowly recreating her old magic with shows like <em>Pavitra Rishta</em> and <em>Bandini</em>. Now she is in the process of launching two new serials on Sony television. One is named as <em>Bayttaab</em> and the second one as <em>Pyar Ka Bandhan</em>.

No Shiney-like disgrace on Balaji show

A few days back, a tabloid reported how Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming show Betaab dil ki tamanna hai will have a character who’ll emulate the real sordid deed of disgraced actor Shiney Ahuja. Seasoned actor Salim Ghouse is to play this character, so said that report. However, that’s far from the truth. Not only is there no such track in the show but Ghouse also doesn’t figure in the cast.

Police arrest Balaji guards over disputed land issue

Property disputes in our country are a common feature. Land sharks are always scouting for easy prey. Presently, Bollywood legend Jeetendra, father of soap queen Ekta Kapoor, found himself involved in a bitter property dispute with M/s RNA builders. The disputed property is a 10 acre land in Hatkesh area of Mira Road (Thane). Balaji is said to have bought this to land to build a hi-tech studio.

Balaji show on Sony delayed by a month

A few days back we had reported on a new Balaji show that is set to make its way on Sony in September. However, there’s been a delay and the show will now come in October. The title of the show is likely to be <em>Betaab Dil ki tamanna hai</em>.

Balaji wooing Dimple Kapadia for their new show

Ekta Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned in her bid to make her upcoming show <em>Fashion</em> (tentatively titled) a grand affair. After roping in Amrita Singh, Balaji Telefilms is trying to woo more celebs from Bollywood for this show. The buzz goes that evergreen actress Dimple Kapadia is on their wish list. “Balaji has approached Dimple Kapadia for a pivotal role. If everything goes smoothly, viewers will see Kapadia make her television debut,” says a source.

Balaji’s Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna

The K Queen Ekta Kapoor has ended her fixation for the alphabet K. The latest offering from the Balaji stable is titled <em>Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna</em>. As reported by Tellychakkar the lead actress of the show is Pooja Bose who essays the role of Goddess Radha in Ekta’s <em> Mahaabhaarat </em>.

Balaji and Star at loggerheads

Following reports of Star’s top show <em> Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi </em> to be axed, the fall-out between the channel and the production house is evident. Reports suggest that Star TV has sent a notice to Balaji asking them to terminate <em> Kyunki </em> by November 10, which is before the expiry of the contract. This comes as a blow to both Balaji and the viewers as it was only recently that Balaji’s other flagship show <em> Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii</em> went off-air on 9 October.

Pooja to play lead in Balaji’s new show

Contrary to reports that suggested that<em>Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii</em> will meet its end on 16th October news now has it that the show will bring its curtains down on 9 October. After which Balaji will air a 15 day <em> Diwali Dhamaka </em> which will start from 13 October. And when this ends Balaji has another new show lined up which is tentatively titled <em> Kitni Mohabbat Hai</em>. The lead role is played by Pooja Bose who essays the role of Radha in<em> Mahaabhaarat</em>.

Balaji actors in C Kkompany

The upcoming Balaji Motion Pictures' film <em> C Kkompany</em> will not only feature some known faces from Bollywood but also from the small screen television actors. <em> C Kkompany</em> stars Balaji biggies like Sakshi Tanwar(Parvati), Hiten Tejwani(Karan)and Jatin (Ronak). Hiten Tejwani throws some light on the story, “It’s basically all the TV actors coming and complaining to the Don about the company. Mithunda essays the role of the <em>Don</em>. Its all about spoofing so there is nothing much to talk about.”
