Ekta Kapoor seems to have changed a lot. Not only has she dumped the alphabet K she has also moved away from her pet theme of saas bahu. And she is slowly recreating her old magic with shows like Pavitra Rishta and Bandini. Now she is in the process of launching two new serials on Sony television. One is named as Bayttaab and the second one as Pyar Ka Bandhan. Reportedly Pyar Ka Bandhan is based on yesteryear's classic Yaadon Ki Baarat, where three brothers get separated from each other and reunite. Pyar Ka Bandhan is the story of four siblings, two brothers and two sisters who get separated from each other after their mother’s death. The serial is based on a rich family who lives in Delhi. After being separated from each other they are adopted by different families and spend a major part of their lives growing in different cultures, something similar to Amar Akbar Anthony. Mahesh Shetty who is seen as Shlok in Ghar Ek Sapna and Vishal Singh of Kasamh Se have been approached to play the role of the two brothers. While Kritika Kamra the lead of Kitani Mohabbat Hai has been approached to play one of the siblings. Confirming this Kritika Kamra said, “Yes, I have been offered the show, but things are just in the initial stage”. Mahesh Shetty too said the same, “Yes I have been approached for the role, but I think it’s too early to talk about. Let things get finalised and I will get back to you”. The second female to play the fourth sibling is yet to be finalised. Sheetal Dhabolkar of Prithvi Raj Chauhan fame is offered the role of Vishal Singh’s girlfriend. The show is tipped to air Mon-Thu at 10.30pm.
