Neela Telefilms’ Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on SAB TV, will have a Republic Day special on 26 January (2013) in which they will show the re-entry of Rita Reporter (Priya Ahuja Rajda). Rita Reporter was a character which got faded away earlier due to track changes but now is all set to return to entertain viewers. We got in touch with Priya to learn more about it. Said Priya: “Yes, I am re-entering the show as Rita Reporter on 26 January and it’s a permanent role for sure. As a matter of fact, I was missing the show badly and so were my fans.” She continued, “But more than that, I was missing my husband Malav Rajda (director of Taarak..) as he is always on the sets and I hardly get time to spend with him. Now that I am back, we can spend some time talking on the sets besides doing our work." Aww, this is so cute. In another development, Taarak is one of the top rated shows (4.4) as per the latest TAM ratings. Hence the cast and crew are celebrating the achievement with a small cake cutting ceremony on the sets. Kudos Team Taarak Mehta!!!
