MUMBAI: Angad Hasija became a renowned name after his stint in Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai.

The actor became a household name as Alekh Sehgal and is all set to return to the daily soap genre after almost four years with Ziddi Dil Maane Na. He was last seen in Waaris, following which he made brief appearances in Dhhai Kilo Prem and Laal Ishq. Talking about his latest outing, he says, “I play a village boy in Ziddi Dil Maane Na and will be seen in a rugged and rough look. I played a similar character in terms of looks years ago in Phulwa and wanted to attempt it again for quite some time. I will be paired opposite Sanjana Dubey (Diljot Chhabra) in the show. My character Kundan will be rigid and strong.”

Over the years, Angad has featured in several TV shows, including Preet Se Bandhi Dori: Ram Milaayi Jodi, Amrit Manthan, Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls and SauBhagyalaxmi. The actor is also known for his love for fitness. He says, “I have been a fitness enthusiast for many years now. It’s a way of life for me. Hitting the gym and working out gives me great joy. It is a source of meditation. During the lockdown, when I was not able to go to the gym, I set up a temporary gym on the terrace of my apartment in my hometown, Chandigarh.”

Ziddi Dil Maane Na features Kunal Karan Kapoor, Shaalien Malhotra, Kaveri Priyam, Simple Kaul and Aditya Deshmukh. Last month, Karan Veer Mehra made a cameo appearance on the show. His track wrapped up recently.
