MUMBAI: Amidst the lockdown, several actors are going live from their social media handles to interact with their fans.

Talented actress Archana Puran Singh, who is still recalled for her character of Miss Braganza in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, is currently seen as a permanent special guest in Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show. Archana is known to be a down-to-earth actress who makes sure that she motivates her team by taking jokes sportingly. Being a veteran in the industry, she lends positivity and warmth to the team.

She recently went live from her Instagram handle and soon broke into tears after being called a 'budhi'.

She shared, 'Some people on my feed have said budhi. So I want to ask that budhi means age and yes I have two grown-up sons. Isn’t everyone’s mother budhi? My mother is budhi so why is it used as a bad word? If you guys are thinking that you all are insulting me then it doesn’t matter to me but don’t use it as an abuse. However, with the kind of intention you’ll say I feel like giving it back. So it’s a request don’t make any such negative comments.'

After saying this, Archana broke into tears and couldn’t control her displeasure.
