Vindhya Tiwari believes in taking up challenging roles that she has never done before. And this is one actress who is living up to her expectations, in every role that she picks up on TV. Starting from her role of Jamuni in Zee TV’s Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak, Mrs. Kaushik ki Paanch Bahuein, Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal to her ongoing role of the terrorist Prema in Diya Aur Baati Hum, Vindhya has lived up to the challenges. Now, Vindhya has grabbed yet another scintillating role, this time of a super model for Life OK’s upcoming big-ticket show Chamak. The show which will be produced by DJ’s – A Creative Unit will be loosely based on the Priyanka Chopra starrer movie Fashion. A reliable source informs us, “Vindhya will play a Bong character in the show. She will be a small town girl who would have her own journey towards success, and will get to become a super model. Vindhya’s character will be one of the pillars of the show.” When contacted, Vindhya confirmed the news stating, “Yes, it feels good to be back with DJ’s again after Maryada. I am excited to work with Life OK as I have never been a part of the channel. However, I cannot disclose anything on my character in Chamak. You will have to wait for the right time.” After her stint with DJ’s in Maryada, Vindhya was supposed to be part of Meri Bhabhi. But it did not materialize as the show saw a change in storyline and characters. Chamak will have Kunal Verma and Riddhima Pandit in lead roles.
