Vijay G Badllani feels satisfied and content with his journey in Doordarshan's Amrita.

Amrita, the Karan Razdan directed show which has been very popular, running for around 260 episodes is shutting shop.

And Vijay takes this opportunity to thank the actor cum writer cum director Karan Razdan for this beautiful experience.

Says Vijay, "The shoot experience with the Amrita team has been great. We were like one big family. The show got two extensions, and did really well for the channel."

Amrita could have continued its run, but with Karan Razdan now wanting to concentrate on his upcoming show, Rajni Returns on Doordarshan, the decision of shutting shop Amrita has been worked out.

And the coincidence for Vijay is that he will be part of Rajni Returns too. He will play the role of a cop, who would help Rajni in her endeavors in solving cases.

The actor adds, "It will be a pleasure to work with Karan Sir yet again. At the outset, I will want to thank Karan Sir and the rest of the cast, that includes Swati Rajput, Mohit Sharma, Aditi Daddhich."

He reiterates, "My association with Karan Sir will continue with Rajni Returns post Amrita."
