The house of talent Anupam Kher, is all set to bring his first ever fiction show on the small screen.

After producing and hosting The Anupam Kher Show - Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai, he is gearing up with a daily, tentatively called ‘Mauka’ for Zindagi channel.

As per sources, it will be a Lucknow based story, revolving around a young guy Arya, played by newbie Ashish Kadyan. He will belong from a middle class family whose dream will be to become a successful actor.

The makers have roped in television actress Jyoti Sharma of Diya Aur Baati Hum fame as the female lead. She will play the role of Niyati who will be from a well-off background and fashion designer by profession. Niyati and Arya will be seen in a relationship where she would support him in chasing his dreams.

The show will also have a love triangle. Deeksha Sonalkar will play the parallel lead as Shikha. She will be a famous Bollywood actress who will gradually fall in love with Arya.

Viewers will also see more talented actors joining the cast. They are Gulfam Khan as Arya’s mother, Aliraza Namdar as Arya’s father, Pritika Chauhan as Niyati’s sister and Maleeka Ghai as Niyati’s mom.

We have heard that the actors will begin shoot from first week of April and it will launch sometime in May. The initial shoots will take place in Lucknow.

Actors Jyoti, Gulfam, Ali and Deeksha confirmed the developments.

The channel spokesperson though did not to confirm the news.
