MUMBAI : Nia Sharma is a huge name in the entertainment business and she has been around for more than a decade.

Her debut show Ek Hazaron Main Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus was a huge success and the audience loved her as Manvi.

Post that she was part of many successful shows like Ishq Mein Marjawan, Naagin, Jamai Raja and Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.

She was also seen in the reality shows Khatron Ke Khiladi and Khatro Ke Khiladi India where she was the winner of the show.

These days she is grabbing the headlines as he would be playing the lead in COLORS upcoming show ' Suhagan Chudail' and the fans are excited to see her in the show as she is coming back on television after a long break.

In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar the actress spoke about how she handles trolls who spoke about her dressing and asked her if she has someone in her life.

13 Years in the industry  but when you look back at the good old days how did you fight against the trolls back when the spoke about dressing, skin complexion etc?

No one could break my confidence, I knew if I am not looking good I am not looking good. I was dealing with acne and hair issues because of my working hours and then I really worked on my looks and for eight years I struggled with my acne where I did my treatments and no one could break that confidence, when I went out I had the same confidence and never let anyone know anything. There was a time where I realised I was losing weight and then three years back I switched off to another lifestyle and started to work out and all and today I look much better than my twenties. I have read so many articles where actresses have said they were rejected because of their skin colour but I never faced and have got such good work at the end the makers will cast who is perfect for the role. In our industry everyone has to be fine the way they look.

What is going on in your personal life? Do you have somebody?

There is no one in my life who is texting me, or I am awake and I know this is such a boring life but also its the best and peaceful.

Well, the fans are excited and super happy to see Nia in the upcoming new serial in a completely new avatar.
