MUMBAI: ‘Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?’ created quite a hype when it aired from 2011 to 2013. It featured Karanvir Bohra, Sriti Jha and Harshad Chopda in titular roles. The show is back with season 2 and it is slowly making its way into the hearts of the audience.

The storyline was extremely gripping, the plot was relevant socially and hence it was relatable to the audience, performances were strong, the show was marketed well and had an emotional connect too. The season 2 is titled ‘Saubhagyavati Bhava: Niyam Aur Shartein Lagu’ and airs on Star Bharat.

It has launched only recently and it already has the audience hooked to the storyline.

The show has an intense narrative which is well dramatized. The set is well designed and so are the costumes. So far it maintains a good visual appeal. However, a section of the audience feels that the season 2 is not as impactful as the original.

Some say that the actors need to get stronger on their acting and match up with the intensity of the narrative as the earlier season gave chills down the spine. Karanvir Bohra is defined as an actor who is class apart and a visual delight. Amandeep Sidhu and Dheeraj Dhoopar have so far been weaker in getting the audience hooked to their performances but going by the storyline, the viewers have their hopes high.

Another user mentioned that the makers are recreating ‘Dil Se Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava’ with a few changes like the cockroach and lizard scenes except for Viraj hacking phones and checking on people.

All in all, ‘Saubhagyavati Bhava: Niyam Aur Shartein Lagu’ has all the ingredients to make the show a masala entertainer if it focuses on a strong storytelling and intense performances.
