Yesterday, we reported about Fireworks Productions planning a cop-based show for Star Plus. We had also mentioned that Kairi fame Preeti Choudhary has been approached to play one of the three permanent lead characters in the show!! We now hear that dashing actor Mohit Malik who presently essays the role of RC in Channel [V]’s Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the Year and Krip Suri who essayed the role of Rahukaal in Life OK’s Savitri are in contention for bagging the lead roles. A reliable source tells us that the actors are yet to sign on the dotted lines, and talks are presently on with them. And Krip and Mohit if finalized will play the two dashing cops. As we have reported earlier, this show will be on an episodic theme, woven around the three permanent characters. When contacted, Mohit told us, “Talks are presently on, but there is no confirmation on anything.” Krip Suri said, “Well, my show Savitri has just ended yesterday. So I am planning a vacation for 6-7 days. I accept that I have few offers in hand. But I will take time to weigh them and choose the best, once I am back from my vacation.” This yet untitled show is slated to air in January 2014.
