Sony TV’s magnum opus historical, Peshwa Bajirao (Sphereorigins and Invictus T Mediaworks) has been in the limelight for the talented cast roped in!!

Seasoned performer Mukesh Khanna was earlier roped in to essay the role of Brahmendra Swami.

However, we at Tellychakkar.com wrote about the actor getting into an issue over the look given for the role. Hence Khanna refused the offer.

Now, stepping in for the role of Brahmendra Swami will be known Marathi actor, Ravindra Mankani.

Mankane who has earlier been part of Zee TV’s successful historical Jhansi Ki Rani has been roped in to play the Swami now.

As per sources, “Mankane has given his nod to essay the pivotal character.”

When contacted, Mankane who was last seen in Star Plus’ Khamoshiyaan said, “I have been told not to talk about it.”

As we know, popular names Manish Wadhwa, Anuja Sathe, Sanjay Batra, Pallavi Joshi, Nawab Shah, Rudra Soni, Ayaan Zubair Rahmani are part of the show.
