The competition and struggle between a mother in law and her daughter in law is the story of every household in India. Besides competing in reel life, we hear that Manasi Parekh and Bharti Achrekar both seen in Sumit Sambhal Lega are having a healthy competition behind the camera.

Manasi shares, ‘Bharti ji and I share a common love for food and cooking and hence we have become popular on our sets for the lunch we bring. We are always bringing extra to share with everyone and hence an unintended competition has started.  We have been teasing each other on what the other will bringing in their dabba tomorrow. Recently we happened to bring Kheer on the same day and then we asked people to choose which kheer was better. Either way we’re all having fun.’

Manasi adds, ‘Bharatiji is a fabulous cook and makes amazing non-vegetarian food while I’m equally passionate about food and carry vegetarian food. So both of us carry new dishes in our tiffin for everybody, the other cast and crew on the show have a feast every day because of our love for cooking.’

The onscreen mother in law and daughter in law duo recently threw a chaat party on the sets treating everyone to delicious Indian snacks.
