MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor’s digital platform ALTBalaji has been quite a success in the adult genre. Their previous works, Gandi Baat, Ragini MMS 3, and Dev DD, were all based on this genre and were a hit with the audience.

According to a reliable source, the platform is all set for a new sex comedy. TellyChakkar has exclusive information that it is a youth-centric series with several prominent characters.

The story revolves around a circle of friends, and sex and humour are the basic flavours in it. While the hunt for other actors is still on, a source reveals that Karan Wahi has been finalized for the show.

The Indian actor and former model will play one of the leads in the series. ‘Although he hasn’t signed the dotted line, he has given his nod for the show,’ an informer reveals. The names of the production house and the director who would be helming the project have been kept under wraps.

On the digital front, the 32-year-old was seen in Netflix’s Sacred Games, which has become the rage of the year. He was also seen in Hate Story 4 as the male lead.

Apparently, the project will go on floors as soon as the other actors are locked.

Karan comes with some experience in the comedy genre. He has been a part of numerous comedy shows like Comedy Nights Bachao.
