Iravati Harshe gave birth to a baby girl on 4 November. The lovely lady last seen prominently on Star Plus' late night thriller K Street Pali Hill is all aglow and brimming with joy over her 'Diwali gift'. Iravati does not plan to take up any projects in the next six months as she wants to only look after her newborn. "We have named her Devika and trust me, motherhood is an awesome feeling," gushed Iravati, when we caught her while she was at her paediatrician's. "Nothing compares to being a mother and my husband is extremely thrilled too. I should be back to acting after a few months' break," says the proud mother. After her role as Dr Smriti Malhotra of Star Plus'Sanjivani, Iravati was last seen in K Street Pali Hill and is married to Rohit; a pilot by profession and was once married to fellow actor, Yatin Karyekar. So does baby Devika look like her, we ask...? "We cannot take our eyes off the baby, but yes, she is developing her own features and her character as of now," smiles Iravati.
