MUMBAI: If you remember the Platinum Jubilee of the late Queen, you’ll recall that there were a number of major public events to mark her historic milestone as Monarch.

But, given her increasing frailty at the time, there was only one event Queen Elizabeth was able to attend for the entire duration – the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

And it is this same event that King Charles was able to attend on Friday evening following his doctors giving him the green light to return to public duties and it’s also an event very much in his backyard, in the private grounds of the Windsor Estate, just a few steps from the Castle.

The only Indian celebrity to be invited, Ishita Gupta captivated audiences at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, where grace and tradition collide in a spectacular display of talent.

Ishita attended the final day of the races where she witnessed the Manama Rose Show following a concluding polo match. The “It Happened That Night” actress took to Twitter to congratulate the the top placed riders and horses along with the winners of the International Arena Polo Match.

Ishita rents a cozy, lavish apartment in Mayfair which is actually owned and managed by the Grosvenor Group which links her to the Duke of Westminster, Hugh Grosvenor as a tenant, who owns Mayfair and Park Lane. Her landlord Hugh Grosvenor has just gotten married to his fiancé Olivia Henson at the Chester Cathedral on June 7,2024. Prince William actually served as an usher at the royal wedding who’s role was to help guests find their seats. Ishita took to Twitter congratulating the Duke of Westminister and the new Duchess of Westminster Olivia Henson wishing them a lifetime of happiness together in a heartfelt tweet. Grosvenor is the godson of King Charles III and is close friends of Prince William and Prince Harry, so much so that the brothers asked him to be a godparent to their sons Prince George and Prince Archie.

According to sources Ishita is the ex fiancé of the governor of the Southern Governorate of Bahrain, HH ShkKhalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa al Khalifa and has recently covered for the leading fashion magazine Grazia however neither the magazine nor Ishita has posted the magazine cover yet on social media. The last time Ishita was seen at the Windsor Castle was at the coronation party of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
