Talented actress Ami Trivedi, last seen on Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai, is back with her new sitcom Tedi Medi Family (Bodhi Tree Productions) on BIG Magic, based on the international show The Middle, narrates the problems of a dysfunctional family.

As we got involved into a candid chat with Ami Trivedi about her latest venture, we asked her about her character. Ami averred, “My character Anjali Khurana is the mother of three, who tries to maintain the balance in the family, but ends up getting into some trouble. My character is very much relatable with audience. I believe it rightly portrays modern women from the walks of life, which is quite different from those which are shown in serials.”

Since, the series is about a dysfunctional family, who is the most dysfunctional member in your family? Ami candidly quipped, “I think I am the most dysfunctional member in my family. I am the one who is the craziest soul in my entire clan and my mother rightly keeps the balance maintained.”

With many international shows being adapted, most of them failed to gain eyeballs. When we asked the lady about the same, Ami said, “Honestly speaking the step that we have taken is an experimental one. We don’t know whether it will be successful or not but we are trying to provide audience with something new. But, it is up to the audience how they will receive it. But, on a personal level I have seen that urban audience love watching such show.”
