Star Plus’ “number one afternoon show Hamari Devrani” will take a leap of 17 years and so Bhakti’s daughter Aastha will grow up and will celebrate her 17th birthday. The major twist in the tale will be Bhakti’s death which has been aired in today’s episode and in the coming two episodes the family will be shown performing the post-death rituals. Aastha will be played by fresh face Vidhi Sindhwad. A source informs, “All the children have now grown up and the upcoming episodes will focus on rituals following Bhakti’s death which has taken place 17 years ago while giving birth to Aastha. Vidhi bears a strong resemblance to her on-screen mother Krishna Gokani. They look quite similar. The ratings had plummeted in the recent past and the channel has planned this shocker – the generation leap and Bhakti’s death -- to pump up the TRPs.” Krishna Gokani (Bhakti) said, “Yes, I am dying in the show.” All attempts to reach Vidhi remained futile.
