MUMBAI: Anand Sharma is a well-known casting director and he has cast for television, Bollywood, and digital shows.

Recently, the director cast for an upcoming zee music video, which stars television actress Nia Sharma and debutant Kamal Kumar.

TellyChakkar got in touch with him and asked him about how he thought of casting Nia and Kamal.

Anand said that he wanted a tall and good-looking star who was a talented actor, so he thought of Nia, and when they approached her and she heard the script, the actress agreed to the role.

On the other hand, he said that finding Kamal's character was really difficult and they had conducted many auditions. When he had auditioned Kamal, he fit the bill perfectly.

He also spoke about the video where he said that it’s a beautiful love story and the song is very soulful and pleasant to hear. It is not like songs of these days where there is only rap.

It's one of the best songs for the monsoons and people are going to love it.

Anand also said that the video will launch by mid-July, and everyone is going to connect to it.
