MUMBAI: Anita Raaj was last seen in Colors' popular show Chhoti Sardaarrni, where she played the role of Kulwant Kaur. 

The actress was seen as Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia aka Meher's mother on the show. 

Anita was loved for her stellar performance on the show. 

While we can't say Anita's character was negative but it had grey shades, and she nailed it like a pro. 

Viewers are missing Anita on the show and on the small screen.

The actress hasn't announced her next project yet. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Anita, who spoke at length about the kind of projects she is looking forward to and much more. 

Anita said, ''As of now, I have not really signed anything, but hopefully soon, I will. I love doing powerful, strong, women-centric roles. I would love to do comedy too. I would again love to play the kind of role I played in Chhoti Sardaarrni.''

She further elaborated on taking up comedy for her project and said, ''Comedy is always challenging. It's about the timing, the way you react to the actors, presence, and everything. There's no fun if the role is not challenging.''

Anita spoke about looking forward to doing a web show. She said, ''I would love to do a web show and I am waiting for a nice role to come my way. There is always a zest for good work.''
