MUMBAI: Shakti Singh is one of the rising stars of the entertainment world.

The actor was recently seen in Abhishek Bachchan starrer movie Dasvi where he played a pivotal role.

Shakti was seen playing the role of great freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad in this film.

The actor received lots of praises for his stellar performance in the movie.

Apart from being a great actor, Shakti is also into casting and has made quite a name for himself.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Shakti who spoke about his career in acting as well as casting.

Talking about his experience of working in Dasvi, he said, "My experience working in Dasvi was great. I felt amazing working with Abhishek Bachchan. Our director guided us well throughout the film's journey."

As we mentioned above, Shakti is also an ace casting director, talking about how he balances both the things, he said, "It is not that difficult to manage if you know what you have to do. If you are clear with your vision, it is not that difficult to manage. When I talk about acting, it is my passion. If I keep getting good roles, I will completely involve myself in acting. Casting for me is a profession."

He continued, "I have not yet decided if I will pursue any one of these. It all depends on the needs. Acting has a good scope and the same goes with casting. It's been more than 8 to 9 years since I started casting."

Shakti has worked with some renowned production houses over his long career span. Contiloe Pictures, Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, Jay Mehta Productions are among the production houses with which Shakti has worked before.
