Shobhana Desai’s next on Life OK, titled Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re, will see a new development in its prime cast.

Lootera fame Govind Pandey who was supposed to play the father of the male lead (Jatin Sharma) has been replaced. Taking his place will be another noted actor, Deepak Dutta.

Deepak as we know, was part of Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi where he played Arjun Bijlani’s father. The actor was also seen in Qubool Hai recently.

In the Life OK show, Deepak’s character will be of a musician who would have been out of work for some time, owing to which he would have taken to alcohol. Though good at heart, the character will be seen in a drunken state always.

When contacted, Deepak confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I am part of Shobhana Desai’s show on Life OK. After playing the fatherly roles to protagonists wherein I am seen being modest and simple, this role is a welcome change for me. The character has so much in it, that it challenges the actor in me.”

Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re as we know, will see the return of Supriya Pathak to the small screen. As we know, Jatin Sharma and Vinti Idnani will play the leads.

The show is likely to replace the ongoing Ek Tha Chander Ek Thi Sudha on Life OK.
