Chandani Bhagwanani chose Jhali Anjali over Meri Ashiqui Tumse Hi

Chandani Bhagwanani
Uparwala jab bhi deta deta chappar phad ke- this Hera Pheri song was definitely playing on Chandani Bhagwanani’s mind when she received a call from television industry’s blue-eyed production house, Balaji Telefilms. Not that she had signed on any dotted line for the esteemed production house, but it could have well happened a few months back. As reported in the media, Balaji Telefilms is producing Meri Ashiqui Tumse Hi for Colors starring Shakti Arora and newbie Radhika Madan. But not many know that Chandani too would have been a part of the show, had fate planned it that way for her. The actress had just signed for Rose Audio Visuals’ Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Love Story on Channel V when she got a call to look for greener pastures, but the girl decided to stick with her decision. “Yes, I was shortlisted for the Colors show, but I had just signed Jhalli a day before this happened. And being the committed person, I couldn’t have backed out. Having said this, I would have loved to be a part of the Balaji show,” confesses the actress. Do you regret your decision? “I so wanted to do a youth show and play a girl of my own age. Now that I’ve got the opportunity, I don’t have a reason to complain. I am extremely happy,” states she. We hope you have made a ‘right’ decision, Chandani!!
