Sphereorigins, the makers of popular shows like Balika Vadhu, Iss Pyaar Ko… 2, Gangaa was all set to launch its anti hero drama Bagawat soon on Life OK.

The serial inspired from Khalid Hosseini’s popular novel, A Thousand Splendid Suns was announced with popular faces Hasan Zaidi and Barkha Bisht. But now the two are no more a part of the project, is what we have been informed.

Shares a source, “The channel and makers had some creative discussions, post which the storyline has been changed. With that happening, the two actors did not fit in the characters and thus have been released by the production house.”

The actors, who were part of Sphereorigins’s show Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne, were retained by the production after the mentioned above show saw an untimely end. With the two being powerful actors they were assured that they would have done justice to the strong characters.

Now the production house is in process of finalizing the alternate cast and launching the show soon.

Both the actors confirmed that they are not doing the show but refused to comment any further.

Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa remained unavailable to comment.

For info, Sphereorigins is all set to launch its period drama Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani on Zee TV starring Drashti Dhami and Siddhant Karnick next month.
