MUMBAI: Anupamaa is one of the most loved shows on television. The show has consistently impressed the audience with its drama, with the titular character of Anuj and Anupamaa’s brilliant chemistry.

The audience cannot have enough of them and ship them as #Maan. Another character which has been seen in a lot of limelight and has been much talked about is Vanraj Shah. Well, while Anuj and Anupamaa’s reunion and intimacy drama is much awaited, the audience witnessed that Vanraj smirked at Anupamaa and called out to her with a whistle. Viewers of the show have slammed the makers for the same and feel that it is rather disrespectful to women.

Bhakti Shah mentioned, “We have seen better shades of Vanraj too. However, he has a particular thing for Anupamaa where he cannot help but smirk at her and the situations that she gets stuck in.”

Harshita Vadhan expressed, “Who whistles like a sadak-chaap at an ex? And don't forget the word 'expert'???”

Mansi Mehta shared, “Whistling at women in fact whistling at anyone is not only rude but also cruel and disrespectful. “

Bhoomika Thakkar opined, “To be honest, the only ship that has been consistent is #AnuRaj. Anupamaa and Vanraj have a stagnant relationship where Vanraj keeps mocking and making fun of the problems Anupamaa faces in life. I find Vanraj humorous.”
