Reality shows can be said to have become synonymous to emotional drama. Star Plus’ new dance show Just Dance seems to be treading the same path. Hrithik Roshan, one of the judges in the show, is having trouble judging the talents. The actor accepts that he often gets very emotional watching the performance of the contestants and he even starts crying at times. “It’s difficult to control emotions. I had watched the videos of the top 50 participants. When Farah (Khan), Vaibhavi (Merchant) and I had to bring the list further down, I got goosebumps. I cried many times because I could feel every participant’s passion and how it must feel for them to get eliminated at the last stage of selections,” said Hrithik. “If I had it my way, I would never let anyone get ousted from the show,” adds the actor. Explaining the format of the show he says that in the final round all the contestants are given same dance style to perform. The one who fails or doesn’t deliver as per judges' expectations is shown the door. “That makes me feel more guilty because even though I know that a certain contestant isn’t too great with a certain dance form, I don’t have a choice but to judge them with someone who’s phenomenal at the same dance form,” explains Hrithik. Hrithik has passed his personal phone number to every participant ousted from the show so far. “That’s the least I could do. I can just offer to be of help whenever they need me.” Another platform to earn 15 minutes of fame we guess.
