MUMBAI: One of the finest actors in Hindi cinema, Alia Bhatt has given consecutive blockbusters since her 1st film, Student of the Year. The actor has gained extensive recognition for her versatality of roles in her films from a spy in Raazi, an authoritive domanant girlfriend in Gully Boy to a prostitute-politician in her lastest film Gangubai Kathiawadi and many more. The actor began her career with Karan Johar’s Dharma Production, Student of the Year but that’s not the 1st film for which Alia tried for.

The young actor initially auditioned for the film, Wake Up Sid (2009) which starred Ranbir Kapoor as Siddharth Mehra and Konkona Sen Sharma as Aisha Banerjee and directed by Ayan Mukherjee.
