And helping him in matters of love was none other than the King of romance – Shah Rukh Khan. At the opening ceremony held at Emirates Palace, SRK conducted a mock Swayamvar for the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli. Normally, Swayamvars are held to help a woman choose her right man. In a classic case of role reversal, the debonair Virat was given the luxury of choosing the bride of his choice. And King Khan ,displaying his trademark wit, called on stage eight female ushers with pictures of eight prospective brides. Now for all those who thought this would put Virat in a fix, the talented batsman surprised everyone by nonchalantly choosing the picture of Anushka Sharma as his bride. As many looked on in surprise, SRK went ahead and garlanded Virat Kohli with the huge portrait of Anushka Sharma and Virat could only blush in response after wearing his heart on his neck!!! Virat and Anushka’s secret rendezvous over the past few months have been making national headlines. Last heard was Virat spending time with Anushka at Rajasthan where she is shooting for her home production NH10. Now with Virat coming out clean about his feelings for Anushka before the world, we feel it’s time for Anushka too, to reciprocate back in kind. May be we should once again request SRK to get Anushka to admit her feelings for Virat. After all, you can only trust the King of romance to pull off a double whammy.
