MUMBAI : One of the legendary classics of Hindi cinema is Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, starring Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel. Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel, the most well-known performers, made their debuts in the film, which was released in 2000. It's the same movie for which Kareena Kapoor Khan was originally confirmed to portray the lead female role, but as fate would have it, Ameesha Patel ended up playing the role. The movie was not just a huge box office hit but also a favourite among critics. Despite having a 10 crore budget, the movie brought in 80 crore at the box office. The filmmakers never considered making a sequel to the movie, even though it was a great hit. But lately, Ameesha Patel has disclosed regarding the possibilities of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai2.

Recently, the actress conducted an Ask Me Anything session on her social media accounts with her followers where she gladly responded to all of the questions and inquiries she received, but one in particular attracted a lot of attention. Can there ever be a sequel to Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai? was the question posed to Ameesha by a social media user. The actress responds by saying that Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai 2 might release if the much-desired conversions are unavoidably ready for an opening weekend of more than 60 crores. She went on to say that Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai 2 would also be ready when in sight is prepared for yet another chaos at the box office. In response, Ameesha says she is sufficiently convinced that, similar to the previous movie, the second instalment when crafted will shatter all the box office records.

Revealing more about Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, it has registered its name both in Guinness World Records and Limca Book of Records for the greatest number of awards won by a Hindi Film Industry film. In fact, Hrithik Roshan not only won the Award for Best Actor debut but also won the award for best actor in a feature film.
