MUMBAI : Hindi star Akshay Oberoi shared screenspace with Deepika Padukone in Siddharth Anand's Fighter. The stellar cast of Fighter also included Karan Singh Grover, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. During an exclusive Gupshup segment, he was asked about one thing he would like to give Deepika and one thing that she should leave.

The actor replied, "Oh! Man, what do you give to a person who has everything? I don't know this is very difficult. What would I give Deepika Padukone? How can you give someone something when they have everything in life? She's got everything and what should she give up? Oh! God, very difficult when it comes to Deepika as she is like this in my head an angel who just came down to Earth and I am more in aww of her than anything. How can you be such a megastar and real at the same time? I should take from her what she has to offer, I can't give or take anything from her".

It is interesting to note that it is not the first time that Akshay has worked with Deepika. Before Fighter, the duo had shared screenspace in Piku as well. To talk about Fighter, it was an aerial action drama film that was released on January 25, 2024, and it was presented by  Viacom18 Studios
