MUMBAI: One of the much-awaited sequels is Badhaai Do. It is the sequel to the 2018 Ayushmann Khurrana starrer. The movie was known for its subject, comic timing, and performances of the leads. Badhaai Do is all set for the shoot. This comedy drama stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar.

Today, the team started the shoot of the movie, and actress Bhumi Pednekar shared a picture on her Instagram story from the first day of the shoot in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

“Poori team ko #BadhaaiDo (Congratulate the entire team). To new beginnings!” the 31-year-old wrote.

Badhaai Do is directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, who helmed the Gulshan Devaiah-starrer comedy Hunterrr (2015), and is written by Suman Adhikary and Akshat Ghildial, who had co-written Badhaai Ho!

The movie marks the very first collaboration of Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, who reportedly play a cop and a PT teacher, respectively.

Well, the movie has already created the right noises all over, and we look forward to see what different Rao and Pednekar have to offer.
