MUMBAI: When asked about the prospect of portraying a negative character, Sidharth reflected on his role in the 2014 film Ek Villain. He acknowledged the complexity of his character, Guru Divekar, and how it presented a challenge to depict a more silent and brooding persona. Despite the aggressive nature of the character's past, Sidharth emphasized that the core motivation was rooted in a love story, making it a more nuanced portrayal.

Expressing his openness to exploring negative roles, Sidharth stated, "At present, I'm not averse to it. It's something that I am also possibly looking. So it's up to the writers and director. If something interesting comes up, of course. Why not?"

The discussion extended to Rohit Shetty, the director of Indian Police Force, who shared insights into the challenges of writing for a villain's character. Shetty emphasized the pivotal role of the antagonist in driving the narrative forward, stating, "The villain is the most important."

From Shershaah to Mission Majnu and now Indian Police Force, he expressed his fascination with characters inspired by true stories, finding them captivating for Hindi film entertainment.
