MUMBAI : Indeed one of the most loved and followed stars of Indian cinema is Raveena Tandon. It is always a treat to watch the actress on screen and now, she is all set to be seen in the upcoming OTT series titled Karmma Calling, which will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar.
Earlier, we got to watch the teaser of the series and the audience felt intrigued by it as everyone started wondering how the series will turn out to be.
Later, the creators of the series released the trailer wherein we can feel the intensity rising. The trailer shows how the series is based on revenge and Karma, as in the consequences of actions.
Varun Sood plays the role of Ahaan in Karmma Calling and we got into an exclusive conversation with the actor where we talked about his character in the show, his experience with Raveena Tandon and much more.
About his character
On this, Varun Sood said that his character Ahaan comes from a rich family who also does not live in that world as his innocence and humbleness intact and believes in things like everyone is a good person and that the world is a beautiful place. Varun Sood also added that Ahaan is a very different individual than the Kothari’s.
Experience working with Raveena Tandon
On this, Varun Sood said that the best part about Raveena Tandon is that she knows that she is a fabulous actor but she understands that we know it too and it can be intimidating to anybody but she is a very humble person as after realising this, she makes the person feel comfortable instantly. Varun Sood added that his experience working with Raveena Tandon has been like a teaching lesson in the sense that from now on, every time he goes to the set and sees a new actor, he will try to comfort them because Raveena Tandon did that for both Varun and Namrata Sheth and according to Varun Sood it was the nicest thing anybody has ever done for him.
Something different that he discovered about Raveena Tandon while working with her
On this, Varun Sood said that when people who come from out of the industry watch actors perform, they have this assumption that the actors might be arrogant and don’t talk to other people but Raveena Tandon is the complete opposite. Varun Sood also added how people think that superstars are selfish and only want their scenes to work but Raveena Tandon is one person who has built every actor in a scene and goes by the ideology of making a scene work because of which the actress used to sit with the actors, help them and made sure that the scenes get better so that the show does well.
