MUMBAI : According to sources, comedian Munawar Faruqui wed makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwal in secret in May in front of their close friends and family. Firoza Khan, also known as Khanzaadi, who was spotted with Munawar on Bigg Boss 17, stated in a recent interview with Telly Talk that she finds it hard to accept that he got married a second time.
Khanzaadi said, “Yes, I got to know about the reports of his wedding. I am actually still not sure. I don't think that he (Munawar Faruqui) is married. Jab tak woh khud nahi bolta hai tab tak main nahi manane wali.”
Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui, the winner of Bigg Boss 17, is said to have recently tied the knot for the second time. Munawar was previously wed to Jasmine; he and his first wife had a kid named Mikael, who is six years old.
It is rumored that Munawar married cosmetics artist Mehzabeen Coatwala, and in May, their photos began making the rounds on social media. Reportedly, the couple threw their wedding reception at the ITC Grand Maratha in Mumbai.
Recently a source revealed, “Yes, Munawar is now married. Usne shaadi kar li hai. Woh yeh sab under wraps rakhna chahta hai tabhi koi khaas pictures bhi nahi milega aapko.”
The stand-up comic made his first performance in public in Mumbai in June, following the public revelation of his second marriage. He nearly made his marriage official by responding to reporters who congratulated him.
Munawar was seen blushing when photographers congratulated him on beginning a new chapter in his life.
