Anurag Kashyap never shies away from expressing his views. The filmmaker recently spoke about how tickets for Hindi films have been almost unaffordable due to its price ceiling. In a recent interview with Humans of Cinema, Anurag compared how the tickets in Telugu film industry are much reasonable and fixed irrespective of a big budget or independent film.

Regarding his private life, Anurag Kashyap has been married twice. His first marriage was to Aarti Bajaj, with whom he had a daughter named Aaliyah Kashyap. Additionally, the second time with an actress Kalki Koechlin. Anurag's daughter Aaliyah engaged to Shane Gregoire, her true love on May 20, 2023, in Bali.

Anurag is well-known for his movies such as Raman Raghav 2.0, Manmarziyaan, Dev D, No Smoking, and Gangs of Wasseypur. Several media reports claim that he will soon make his acting debut in Malayalam films.

Tere Nam was a legendary movie that starred Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla in the main roles. Salman's acting prowess was recognized in this unique film. The 2003 film was a dramatic comedy-drama that took home multiple accolades. The film was directed by the late Satish Kaushik.

Anurag previously stated that he feels bad about asking Vicky to collaborate with him right now because the actor's market value has skyrocketed and he is aware that he is unable to pay for him.
