Abhishek Agarwal, a well-known Tollywood producer and financier, was preparing his office in Hyderabad for media marketing for his upcoming Telugu film, 'Tiger Nageswara Rao,' which stars southern actor Ravi Teja.

These days, the highest grossing Indian films routinely cross $100 million globally (currently around Rs 825 crore). This year, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan have both crossed the mark while last year, RRR and KGF Chapter 2 had.

The movie had been popular in India until that point, but it had not made an impact outside. That changed after its publication in Russia. In the Soviet Union, the movie sold an astounding 12 lakh tickets, bringing in 60 million roubles, or around $75.86 million or Rs 94.28 crore.

The legendary actor mentioned the event on a previous episode of his radio program Suhana Safar with Annu Kapoor. He was overheard discussing how Madhuri was made to film a rape scene with Ranjeet, one of Bollywood's well-known villains.

Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty's mother Shantirani Chakraborty died on Friday, June 6. The news was confirmed by the actor's younger son Namashi Chakraborty. Mithun used to stay with his mother in Mumbai.
