During the exclusive chat session with Tellychakkar director Kiran Rao spoke on Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and others not getting as big roles as Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit

Laapata Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao, was released in theatres on March 1. The film is getting love and support from critics and audiences alike. Salman Khan is also a fan. Speaking candidly with RJ Stutee on HT Smartcast’s The Super Womaniya Show, the screenwriter and director spoke about not only her latest release, but also how she created a space for herself despite coming from 'a very regular family'.

The film was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and has a huge star cast that included Aamir Khan, Raghubir Yadav, Gacy Singh, among others including many international actors.

It's interesting to note that Kiran helped in the filming of Lagaan, which led many to speculate as to whether Aamir's divorce from Reena was caused by her love relationship with him. Kiran has recently disclosed that this was incorrect, though.

With this film, most of the actors are making their big-screen debuts, but some of them have already established impressive resumes. Did you know that the Phool character in the project, played by actress Nitanshi Goel, was a cast member of the television show Thapki Pyar Ki?

Aamir Khan is truly an artist and has worked hard to perfect his craft. He has shaped himself multiple times for his various characters in different movies. In fact, there are times when he took on different avatars in the same movie, changing himself just like a chameleon.
